HercLeon has launched the HercShirt V5.0, which it claims can be worn for more than 30 days without developing that unmistakable “you really need to wash this” smell.
The secret is woven directly into the fabric. It contains copper, silver, zinc, gold, volcanic ash and two mystery ingredients. Copper helps inhibit odour-causing bacteria, zinc tackles compounds produced by sweat, while volcanic ash absorbs moisture and outside smells.
The shirt costs around 79 US dollars and is expected to begin shipping in November. Initially it’ll only come in black, with more colours planned.
There are cheaper versions too, including shirts designed to stay fresh for three or 14 days.
Thirty days without washing a T-shirt, though?
At some point you’d have to wonder whether the shirt smells… or you do.
