Pickle fans, your moment has arrived.

KFC Australia has launched a limited-edition Picklecore menu, and they haven’t exactly dipped a cautious toe into the pickle jar. They’ve cannonballed straight into the brine.

The new range landed on September 1 and features pickles across burgers, chips, sauces and even drinks.

Leading the charge is the Pickle Burger, featuring an Original Recipe chicken fillet with pickle ranch sauce, dill pickle seasoning, bread and butter pickles and crunchy pickle chips.

Then there are Pickle Loaded Chips, topped with Popcorn Chicken, pickles and pickle ranch sauce, plus the brilliantly named Frickles, which are exactly what they sound like: deep-fried pickles.

But KFC has saved its most eyebrow-raising creation for the drinks menu.

Meet the Pickle Pepsi.

It combines Pepsi Max over ice with fresh pickles, while the pickle brine comes separately so you can decide just how far down the briny rabbit hole you’re prepared to travel.

For those completely committed to the pickle cause, there’s also Pickle Ranch Sauce and various Picklecore meal options available through participating KFC restaurants.

And apparently the pickle party isn’t stopping there. A Pickle Cheesecake is also expected to make a limited appearance later in September. Because once you’ve put pickle brine in Pepsi, dessert was really the only frontier left.

The Picklecore range is available for a limited time at participating KFC restaurants across Australia.

So the question is…

Pickle Burger? Absolutely. Frickles? We’re listening. Pickle Pepsi? That might require a dare.
